Badass Birthday
Ninety years ago, in 1935, Jerry Orbach was born.
He was a multitalented celebrity, been on the stage, the television, and the movies. He was nominated for several Tony award, having won one in the late 60s. He was nominated for a few Emmys, one Grammy and numerous Screen Actors Guild awards, and having one of the latter as well.
He's known for his role of Billy Flynn in Chicago on the stage, and had a reoccurring role on Murder, She Wrote. He was the singing Candelabra in the movie Beauty And The Beast.
But what he's best known for, what makes him a badass, is his 12 season run as Lenny Briscoe on Law & Order. Just a tremendous job in that role.
He passed in 2004 at the age of 69.
