Superhero Anydays
In the late 70s, DC Comics decided to restart All-Star Comics, using the numbering where the series ended, and brought back the Justice Society Of America. After the first few issues, Joe Staton took over as artist and remained so until the series was canceled again. He did a great job, and I always see him as THE JSA artist.
Today we have a batch of his drawings of the JSA members from that time.
Hourman and The Atom
Batman and his alter ego Bruce Wayne, who had retired from superheroing and was Gotham City Police Commissioner at this time.
Dr. Fate and a close up profile of his helmet of Nabu
Dr. Mid-Nite having thrown one of his blackout bombs
The Flash and his alter ego Jay Garrick
The Huntress and her alter ego, Batman's daughter, Helena Wayne
Power Girl, aka Superman's cousin
Robin as an adult member of the JSA and when he was a teenaged sidekick to Batman.
Star Spangled Kid, who at this time was no longer a kid
Starman and Sandman
Superman and his alter ego and editor of the Daily Star Clark Kent
Wildcat
Wonder Woman, Paradise Island, her invisible plane and her alter ego, Diana Prince
