I've debated doing this, cause it seems I start this every year and never finish.  But I'm gonna give my predictions for the weekends playoff games (even tho even as I type this the first game has started).

Los Angeles Rams at Carolina Panthers

The Panthers kinda snuck in through the backdoor.  They lost to the Bucs last week, had they won they would be in on their own.  But since they lost, they had to wait for the Falcons to beat the Saints, thus creating a 3 way tie.  And due to the tie breakers, the Panthers got in.    I don't really care which team from the 3 way tie would have gotten in, I'd still be picking their opponent. 

Winner: LA Rams

Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears

The Packers have no been consistent this season.  The Bears only really beat teams that weren't any good (I think only two of their 11 victories were against teams in the playoffs).  Still, I really do NOT like the Packers and I'm rather ambivalent about the Bears.

Winner: Chicago Bears

Buffalo Bills at Jacksonville Jaguars

Bills quarterback Josh Allen is an amazing player, perhaps could even be MVP.  However, the rest of the Bills teams this season have been kinda....well, blah.  I honestly haven't seen the Jags play much this season, if at all. But they did win 13 games and come out third in the AFC.  Were this game IN Buffalo, I might pick differently. 

Winner: Jacksonville Jaguars

San Francisco 49ers at Philadelphia Eagles

I DETEST the Niners with the heat of a thousand suns.  Despite playing in the same division as my team, I don't like the Eagles, but I dislike them less than the Niners.  I don't ever want to even SEE the Niners in the Playoffs, much less win any games. 

Winner: Philadelphia Eagles

Los Angeles Chargers at New England Patriots

The Chargers are NEVER consistent, in the regular season OR the Playoffs.  That may change with Harbaugh as their head coach, but who knows?  The Pats are a surprise team, they weren't expected to do well, much less win the division.  However, this is game is being playing in New England.  In January.  At night.   And the Chargers are a southern California Team.  I'm going with the weather for this one. 

Winner: New England Patriots.

Houston Texans at Pittsbugh Steelers

I don't care about the Texans at all.  I dislike the Steelers less than the Niners, but still, don't like em.   Plus, I've got the Texans in the randomly picked Playoff Pool at work.  So that's all I need to pick this game. 

Winner: Houston Texans. 

We'll see how well I did here on Tuesday...and if I continue doing it into the Divisional Games next weekend.
