Badass Birthday
On this date in 1962, 61 years ago, in New York City, Alison Arngrim was born.
Of course she's best known as Nellie Olsen, the bratty blonde nemesis of the main stars on Little House On The Prairie. She played that role from 1972 to 1982. She has done other acting jobs since then of course as well.
But what makes her a badass is she has been an outspoken and fierce ally for the LGBTQ community for many many years. Even in the late 80s and onwards, when it wasn't an accepted thing, to either be gay OR an ally. She's become a regular on the Pride circuit, appearing in many cities over the years during the Gay Pride festivals.
Total badass.
