Superhero Anydays
Marvel's Contest Of Champions was one of the first mini-series published, back in, I think, 1982 or so. It's success led to a flurry of further mini-series, some good some less. This is a panel from that mini-series.
Grandmaster and Death pick heroes of Earth to battle. This is their 'teams'.
On the left, Grandmaster's team:
Captain America, Talisman, Dark Star, Wolverine, Defensor, Captain Britain, Sasquatch, Daredevil, Peregrine, The Thing and Blitzkrieg.
On the right, Death's team:
Iron Man, Vanguard, Iron Fist, Shamrock, Storm, Arabian Knight, Sabra, Angel, Invisible Woman, Sunfire, Black Panther and Collective Man.
