Badass Birthday
On this date, in 1934 in Russia, was born Yuri Gagarin.
Yuri was a Soviet pilot and cosmonaut, and in 1961 he became the first human being to enter outer space. The first person willing to risk it all to go, literally, where no man has gone before, surely makes him a badass!
Just 7 years after his spaceflight, he was killed in a plane crash at the age of only 34.
