Badass Birthday
On this date, 100 years ago in 1926, in London England, Queen Elizabeth II was born.
She reigned for 70 years, 214 days. the second longest reigning monarch in all of recorded history, behind only Louis XIV of France who reigned 2 years longer. She lived to the age of 96, making her potentially the third longest lived monarch in history (though the actual age of some rulers from the BC years are difficult to accurately calculate).
She had four children, eight grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren (at the time of her passing). She had 15 Prime Ministers during her reign and the USA had 14 presidents during that time.
Despite all the challenges and changes that took place over her reign, when she passed she was still the most popular member of the royal family.
