Badass Birthday
On this date, in 1975, in London, David Beckham was born.
I'm gonna be honest with you, I know next to nothing about professional soccer. I know rudimentarily how the game is played. But teams, players, coaches, etc...nope, no idea. So that fact that I know who David Beckham is says a lot about how famous he is.
I know he's played for Manchester United, I think the Madrid team, and the LA Galaxy. Could be other teams, who knows? I know he married a Spice Girl. I know he made famous the faux-hawk hairstyle years ago when it was in fashion. I know he's got a couple kids, at least one boy, Brooklyn, who apparently is kinda estranged from his parents. And I know he's a mulit-millionaire, if not billionaire by now.
And again, the fact that I know all this about him, when I know nothing about professional soccer and don't follow celebrities with any sort of regularity, just shows what a badass he actually is!
