On this date, in 1907, in Connecticut, Rosalind Russell was born.
Rosalind Russell was an American actress, comedienne, model, screenwriter and singer. Over her career, she received 5 Golden Globes and a Tony Award, as well as four Oscars and one BAFTA nomination. Her career spanned from the 30s to the 70s. And she did it all playing varied parts in varied types of movies.
But honestly, I put her on here for one reason: her starring role in Auntie Mame in 1958.
Oh wouldn't we all want an Auntie Mame? Or at least, all we gay boys would.
