Badass Birthday
On this date, in San Antonio in 1964, Rick Riordon was born.
Rick Riordon is an author who created the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. I've read all of them. And watched the seasons of the show on Disney+.
I've also read his other series: The Heroes Of Olympus; the Egyptian mythology Kane Chronicles; and Magnus Chase and the Gods Of Asgard.
Yeah, I know they're all Young Adult Fiction, but being written for kids just means it's an easy read, it doesn't mean it's stupid. They're quite interesting and well written.
Totally badass juvenile literature.
