I saw this in the small theater in my hometown. I would have been 13.  And man, it blew my mind! It was just freakin' awesome.  I'm not sure, but I may have seen it twice in that theater!  Loved everything about it.   Upon repeated viewings by a much older, more mature me, it's really not that great...not really all that good either. But I still enjoy it for nostalgia and the campiness of it.

Today I walked 1.41 miles in 28 minutes.

The photo I took on the walk turned out to be way to blurry to see anything, so I'm not posting a photo today.

 Just saw earlier today that twenty years ago, on December 3, 2000, Queer As Folk premiered on Showtime!

This show was revolutionary in that is showed gays and lesbians in real life.  Even the steamy sex scenes.

For me personally, this show was everything.  Sunday nights, at 10pm, I was glued to the TV.  Ag would always be there.  And Ghostie came by to watch a lot of episodes.  Poodle, another gay guy that worked at Borders that I knew watched some.  And the straight couple, Joe and Candice came by to watch some of them, when they were dating.   It was THE place to be, in front of the TV watching that show.

As the show went on, over the 5 years it aired, it kinda lost it's luster.  But still it was a great show that I enjoyed and never missed!  

But twenty years ago......man, where DID the time go?
