Check This Out!
This is a totem pole in the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. I've been in there twice, and seen this both times.
It's a bit hard to miss because, as you can see, it's in the middle of a stairwell, and it stands like four stories tall. Moving floor to floor on these stairs means passing the totem pole. And amazingly, it's an actual totem pole from somewhere in Canada. I don't know how people that far in the past could make and erect a totem pole like this. Amazing.
