So, since it's a Saturday, I got up and got to work. Had my coffee, did the two intakes that were there to be done.  Did some computer work, shuffled some papers, talked a bit to some coworkers, and then it was 11:00am, time for lunch.   Finished the lunch and read the paper.  Then decided to jump on Facebook real quick before getting to more paper shuffling.

It was 11:33am, and the first thing I saw was the Pennsylvania had been called for Biden, he was over 270 votes and the President Elect!  As I work in a VERY conservative, Republican work environment and none of the other few Democrats work Satrudays, I did not cheering or shouting.  I don't like to rub things in...especially with people I have to work with.  But I DID do a fist bump or two and whispered a quite "YEAH!" and then immediately called mom so she'd know.

She was headed out to volunteer at the Thrift Store they have out in her village, but I caught her right before she left.  She hadn't heard, although she told Howard to turn on the TV so she could see a bit of it before she left.

And then I spent the remainder of the day at work scrolling through Facebook and Twitter and smiling like a fool all day.  I saw videos from my friend in NYC taken from their balconies and all you can hear is people banging pots, yelling, honking horns.  I saw other videos from Baltimore, LA, San Francisco, Chicago, of people dancing in the streets, impromptu parades of cheering people down streets, people going by tRump properties and honking, giving the middle finger, yelling out, "you're fired"!.  There were red, white and blue fireworks in Edinburgh Scotland.  Churchbells rang in Paris.  I saw a woman from Australia, crying.  She woke up to the news and was so overcome she just broke out in tears of joy.  The entire world, not just the entire country, is celebtrating this election!

When I got home I immediately brought my Biden/Harris sign from my bedroom window to my living room and it is proudly displayed there....probably until the Inaugural, I would imagine.  Then I opened a bottle of wine I had poured myself my first of six glasses of win.  I did eat supper and a few snacks while drinking, so even though I DID drink an entire bottle of wine myself, I'm only a bit tipsy.

I watched the Harris and Biden victory speeches on tv.  And yes, I did tear up a bit...shut up, like you didn't.   I know we've still got 70 days of the orange shitgibbon and his antics, but it feels like no one, outside the White House, cares about him anymore.  We're all looking forward, beyond those 70 days to healing the country and the world.

Thanks God.   Finally.

And now, I got some shit I found online and such.  Enjoy.

My first glass of win in front of the Biden/Harris yard sign in my living room.

This was the sixth and final glass of wine I held off drinking until Harris and then Biden came out to give their speeches.

tRump (impeached, infected & defeated) had been out golfing (no surprise there) when the election was called.  This was him later in the day after finishing and apparently getting the news.  Tell me that is not the definitive look of a loser.  And if you do, you're a liar and loser too.
