Today In The History Of Polt's Comic Book Collection
This month, we turn back to April 1986. I was getting ready to graduate high school in a few months, and this appeared on the comic book stands: Firestar #2.
A few years prior, there was a Saturday morning cartoon called Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends. The amazing friends were Iceman (from the X-Men) and a character created just for that cartoon: Firestar. Then in 1986, Marvel Comics released this mini-series, of the heroine Firestar.
She would later appear in some of the X-titles, and then become a founding member of New Warriors, and even eventually, a member of the Avengers!
