Of the 538 members of Congress, all but 14 House members voted to make Juneteenth, a day marking the time the last of slaves in the South, in Texas, heard that they were no longer slaves but free, a Federal Holiday.

How nice of all those Republicans to give themselves a day off to "honor" people of color.  But let's not forget, they're still, every single one, doing nothing to guarantee the right to vote for people of color.  They are actively allowing Republicans in the state governments to do all they can to suppress the vote of people of color.

Fucking hypocrites.

You can be DAMN sure if the Juneteenth recognition only gave something to people of color and didn't also give something to rich, old, straight, white men, none of the Congressional Republicans would have voted it for.

God Damn fucking hypocrites.
