MAPS!
Today's map shows the paid maternity leave new mothers get by country.
The US, or course, mandates none, because here in America we care more about businesses not having to pay workers to stay home than we do about new mothers and their newborns.
And look! What great company we're in: Papua New Guinez and Liberia are the only other countries who mandate none. We, here in the USA, treat our new mothers worse than new mothers in Europe, China, Iran, anywhere in South America, or even Ethiopia.
God, I hope we all feel so proud.
