Today we have a nemesis of Hawkman's, Hath-Set! Hawkman, Hawkgirl and Hath-Set were all alive in ancient Egypt and all were killed and were reincarnated over and over and over. In the 1940s on Earth-2 Hath-Set attempted many times to kill Hawkman and Hawkgirl, as he had done in the past.
