So I made donations to both John Fetterman for PA Senate and to Josh Shapiro for PA Governor. I had to supply my email address, of course. I knew that would be spread to other Democratic candidates this election cycle, and okay fine, that's what happens.
I have gotten emails requesting money from many candidates: Beto Orourke in Texas, Barnes in Wisconsin, Abrams in GA...I've gotten requests from the Democratic House and Democratic Senate committees, and supposedly from high profile Democrats: Biden, Jill Biden, Barack and Michelle Obama, Nancy Pelosi, etc. And that's fine, all of that is par for the course.
And then there's Val Demmings. She's running for Senate against Marco Rubio. And from her, I get...well a LOT of emails. So many they're just irritating. More than I got from Fetterman and Shapiro combined most days! Started ten days ago, I just left them and didn't delete them. Here, is the list:

Forty fucking emails in 10 days. I have not donated to her, nor do I intend to. But I tell you this, this oversaturation of emails is REALLY offputting. Were I on the fence about donating to her, THIS would make me NOT do it.
I understand that it's all probably just one guy sitting at a computer with a list of emails sending them out every couple hours. I understand it's neither time, nor manpower, nor money intensive. But I just can't believe she gets much money for every email sent.
But I'm not a campaign coordinator, so what do I know?
