Today, by the Fraim brothers, we have the four "cursed" Legionnaires inducted all at one time.
Nemesis Kid, who was a plant, betrayed the team and fought them on several occasions.
Ferro Lad, who was the first Legionnaire to die, saving the Sol system from the Sun-Eater.
Princess Projectra, who later, as Sensor Girl, presided as Leader of the Legion when it fell apart.
Karate Kid, who died much later saving his wife's planet and the Legion too.
They're also quite interconnected. Projectra and Karate Kid dated for a long time and later married, having to retire when she became Queen of her planet. Their marriage didn't last long, as the Legion Of Super-Villains took the planet over, with Nemesis Kid as a member. Karate Kid sacrificed himself to save the planet. And Projectra then, as Queen of the planet, broke the neck of Nemesis Kid for killing her husband and all he had done to the planet, executing him.
Quite a tragic group.
