Badass Birthday
Today, one hundred and thirteen years ago in 1912, in Pasadena California, Julia Child was born.
Name me one better TV chef! Gordon Ramsey? Loud mouth and uncouth wannabee. Guy Fieri? Oh please, Rachel Ray? Wannabee. Jamie Oliver? Nope. Paula Deen? Go suck on a stick of butter.
They all owe everything they are to her, Miss Julia Child! Without her, and her Badassedness, they'd be nebishes slaving away in a some hotel kitchen somewhere.
Sadly, she passed in 2004 at the age of 92.
