Badass Birthday
In 1921, 104 years ago in El Paso was born Gene Roddenberry.
Known as The Great Bird Of The Galaxy, Roddenberry created Star Trek: The Original Series in the late 60s. He also was instrumental in the first batch of Star Trek movies, and creating Star Trek; The Next Generation. He passed in 1991 at the age of 70, and didn't contribute to the later series or movies. But he laid the foundation for one of the greatest and long lasting TV franchises in existence.
