On this date, in 1931, in Montreal Canada, William Shatner was born.
The man how DEFINED Starfleet Captains for two decades (until the next regular Captain, John-Luc Picard, starred in The Next Generation), William Shatner, despite his scene-chewing acting, has become an icon.
Three seasons of the Original Series, seven movies, author, director, TV spokesman, he's almost done it all (even made an album...which the less said about the better). He's been the lead in the cop show TJ Hooker, and he even received an Emmy Award for Boston Legal.
But just being Captain Kirk alone would be enough to make him a total basass!
