Seriously, it's going to be harder to find anyone, especially and actor or actress, who embodies to perfection the word Badass!
She had a decades long career. She had 10 Oscar nominations, and 2 wins for Best Actress. She took not shit from anyone and had no problem playing unsympathetic or even villainous roles. And she was the title of a #1 Billboard Hit near the end of her life (Kim Carnes' Bette Davis Eyes), and was mentioned in a hit song years after her death (Madonna's Vogue).
She passed away in 1989 at the age of 80.
