On this date, in 1924 in Ohio, Henry Mancini was born.
Mancini is a renowned composer, conductor, arranger, and pianist. He is widely considered one of the greatest composers in film history. He's earned 4 Oscars, a Golden Globe and 20 (!!) Grammys!
