Badass Birthday
On this date, in 1883, in Prague was born Franz Kafka.
I honestly only one of his works, Metamorphosis. But I know there's been a lot more of works published. And most of them have an isolated or lonely protagonist in bizarre or incomprehisble predictaments, much like in Metamorphosis.
He passed in 1924 at the age of 40. There is a word in English: Kafkaesque. It "describes situations that are disorienting, surreal, or nightmarishly illogical, usually characterized by senseless, complex bureaucracy".
Honestly, when one has a word named after him, well, he's GOT to be a badass!
