His father sent him to his grandmother's house.....

Also today, in addition to the start of the blizzard, something else sad, disappointing, upsetting happened.

My grandmother died.

She was 92 years old.  She was my mom's mother.  She has been in a home for like a year, and for at least half a year, could only get around any distance in a wheelchair.  She's also had breathing issues for quite some time.

I am upset about this, but really, it's almost a blessing.  She wasn't in good health and wasn't going to get any better health-wise.  She hasn't been happy in a while.  I mean, I don't want her to be dead, but I'm glad she's not living the life she was living.

Less than a month ago, we had the Family Christmas out at the home where she was living at, using a room there.  She couldn't stay the whole entire time because she got tired and was having problems breathing and they had to get her back to her room.  But at least we got several good pictures.

Grandma and her brood of 7 grand-kids and 7 great-grand kids.

She lived a long, productive life.    And now, she's with Pap again.

Rest In Peace, Gramm Gunder.

It's great she had one last happy Christmas with the family. It's hard to say good-bye but when their quality of life is so diminished it's hard to wish them to hang on. Hugs to you and Mama Polt.

Polt,
I'm sorry to hear about your Grandmother, but like you said, her suffering is over. I haven't talked to you in a while, (Mark from Puntabulous) but "stalked" your blog and found this.Prayers for you and Mama Polt.
