SO....

What did I decide to do today, in addition to pay some bills and take a walk (see below for that)?  Well, after some late morning bedtimesexxyfun, I decided to go get some groceries.  And while there, I decided I wanted to make some chili.

I hadn't made chili in a couple years, so I wasn't sure exactly how much of which ingredients to get.  So, of COURSE, I called Mama Polt.  And she told me.  BUT, I always like to put more meat in the chili than normal.  So I bought......perhaps too much stuff.  See?

Yeah, that's a LOTTA chili for one person.  But I made it, and yeah, it DID make a lot!  Half a freaking pot!  But I'll eat it, don't worry about that!  It was delicious!  So good I had TWO bowls of it!

A bit later, I'm was sitting around here doing absolutely nothing, and I thought.....I'm gonna wrap some gifts!

And that kinda freaked me out a bit.

See, for YEARS, I'm talking like even up to 10-12 years ago, I didn't even start Christmas shopping until like the 20th of December or so.  But this year, I have a LOT of gifts already bought.  Like probably 30 separate gifts, and with a few more to buy.  But the point is, I already have most of my shopping done. 

And there was MANY a year I spent a good part of Christmas Eve wrapping gifts.  So that fact I've wrapped a few already is startling.  I only wrapped 6 of them, before I got bored with it.  But hey, at least that's 6 I dont have to wrap later!

I guess this is what happens when you turn 50....you start wrapping Christmas gifts earlier than ever before.....
