After much delay (due to the pandemic and some issues on her end) today I had my first phone call with my endocrinologist in six months. My A1C (long term blood sugar) was 7.5....a full 1% drop. Doesn't sound like much, but it's actually kinda impressive (both the endocrinologist and Jen, the nutritionist I always speak to after the doctor) complimented me on the result. Hopefully I can keep it going lower, to better levels. I actually pretty proud of it myself, considering I did it over January and February, because those are my traditionally worst months for blood sugar control.
