 Today In The History Of Polt's Comic Book Collection 

This month, we're going back to November of 1992: Bill Clinton had just been elected president, I turned 25, and this comic, Protectors #3 from Mailbu Comics was published. 

The creators of the Protectors took a bunch of heroes who had lapsed into the public domain, totally made a new character based on the name, and put a comic book out.  It was a small publisher, and the stories and character were okay, but it only lasted like three years before it was canceled.
