Anniversary Avengers
Today we have the next Avenger to join, Living Lightning.
Miguel Santos' father was part of criminal organization and killed on a mission for them when Miguel was a teen. Miguel broke into that organization's headquarters, accidently activating a machine therein and was turned into...living lightning. He took to a life of crime, came in conflict with the West Coast Avengers and was apparently killed. But he survived, and after a short stint in crime worked with the West Coast Avengers and eventually became a member. After working with the team for a while, he decided to go to reserve status and concentrate on his college studies. He also came out as gay.
The Living Lightning has not yet appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
