Superhero Anydays
The Legion Of Super-Heroes, 1000 years in the future, would periodically have open tryouts when any "hero" could show what they've got and try to get membership. And there have been some doozies: Eyeful Ethel, Polecat, Tuskar, Double Header, among other. But the weirdest, frankly, the stupidest of them all had to be this guy:
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you.... Arm Fall Off Boy. Yep, that was his name AND power. With a resounding PLORP, he could yank a limb off and, I guess, use it as a cudgel to pummel the bad guys into submission? Naturally, and rightfully, he was rejected.
And he should have known there was no way he could have been accepted, except possibly on an April Fool's Day.
