Today, we have the splash page, drawn by John Byrne, from Uncanny X-Men #137. It's the issue where Jean Grey kills herself rather than allow Dark Phoenix to take her over again. A death that was null and void later when the Phoenix Force just took someone else and when it was revealed this wasn't even Jean Grey. But I digress.
