Badass Birthday
Today, 87 years ago, Diana Rigg was born in Yorkshire England.
Why is she a badass? I'll give you three names:
Emma Peel, from the TV show, The Avengers, who made catsuits fashionable before Catwoman on the Batman TV show
Contessa Teresa di Vincenzo, from On Her Majesty's Secret Service, who I think was the only woman to get James Bond to marry
Olenna Tyrell, from Game Of Thrones, aka The Queen Of Thorns and the one responsible for the murder of Geoffrey Baratheon (thanks be to the gods!)
In addition, she's been on Broadway, earned a Tony Award as well as many British acting awards. And she was made a Member Of The Most Excellent Order Of The British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth.
Sadly she passed in 2020, but all that she did in her life obviously makes her a Badass!
