Badass Birthday
Today in 1951, 74 years ago, Lynda Carter was born in Phoenix Arizona.
Statuesque, beautiful, Lynda Carter. Yes, she's a Badass mainly for Wonder Woman, and the would be enough. But then she had parts in a whole bunch of movies. And she does support a lot of progressive causes and positions.
And on a more personal notice, she was the Grand Marshal at the DC Gay Pride Parade 12-13 years ago. My friend Paul and I screamed with excitement like school girls as her car drove by. She turned, looked directly at us, an waved. And we screamed more.
Such a badass.
