So....

Today, for no particular reason whatsoever, I finally watched "The Devil Wears Prada".

Seeing was never something that interested me, even though it seems to be a thing in the gay community.  And yes, Meryl Streep was amazing.  But really ,when isn't she?   But really, I found the movie formulaic.   I mean, from the beginning I could see Anne Hathaway wouldn't fit in and wouldn't care, then she would care and try, then she'd do something to impress Meryl who would accept her, then she'd become everything she hated, something would happen to make her wake up to that, and she'd chuck it all.  And low and behold, that's exactly what happened. 

It was...fine, but nothing to rave about. 

Also, a few days ago, I heard my first Christmas Carol on the radio, and one station I listen to has gone all Christmas music all the time.  It's still too early, but it's only a week before Thanksgiving, so it's not crazy. Like the time a local station did that the day BEFORE Halloween.  I've never listened to that station again.  And won't. 

AND, mom stopped by today to give me Boston Creme Pie for my birthday. It is absolutely delicious. I was gonna try to hold out until tomorrow, my actual birthday,  But I knew it was sitting there waiting to be eaten and it WOULD be crazy good, so I had a slice.   Totally Yummy!
