 SO....my day.

I had a doctor's appointment mid morning (just an annual visit, a yearly checkup, nothing bad) so I had off work.  Nice.

The doctor and I had a good visit.  I like him, its apparent he likes me too.  We talked about my work and about my upcoming retirement, of all things.  it was longer than a usual visit I imagine.  My appointment was at 9:45, he came in the room at about 10:15.  I left right around 11:00.  I also got the RSV vaccine, which both the nurse and recommended.  Don't wanna be taken out by a respiratory illness if a vaccine could help.

After the appointment, since I'd not had coffee or breakfast yet, I drove to Sheetz and got both.  Ate the Boston Creme Donut in the car, and then drove to Wal-Mart.  Took my coffee in with me.  Got a few things I needed (and a few things I didn't need, just wanted).  As I left, I walked by the Subway/Auntie Annie's food area and smelled the Auntie Annie's soft pretzels.  I took my stuff out to the car and then thought, I haven't had a soft pretzel in forever.  SO I walked back in a got a cup of pretzel nuggets and a soda.

I was gonna stop by the Credit Union, but when I pulled towards it I saw the parking lot was packed, so I was like, nope, I'll go another time.

I then drove to CVS and picked up a prescription the doc had called in for me.  And it was uncharacterically empty.  Thank God.  I HATE crowds of people in there, mostly cause they're usually old and slow or ill and coughing and hacking and shit.  Anyway, not such issues this time.

When I got back in the car I saw that I was at just a quarter of a tank of gas.  SO I drove to Rutters to get gas, using my Rutters card to get 51 cents off a gallon of gas!  I came back home, did some stuff on the computer and then remembered I needed to do towels.  So I've got one load in the washer and another in the dryer right now.

And then I settled in to watch the World Cup game between Spain and Belgium, which is currently tied and almost at the end of regular time.

Not sure what the rest of the afternoon and evening hold, but I'm certain it wont be as busy as what the day has been so far.
