This is the cover from one of the issues or collections of The Crisis On Infinite Earths, of which The Maestro George Perez was the artist and co-plotter.  And no, I am not going to attempt to list every character, hero and villain, shown here, other than the big bad villain in the middle: the Anti-Monitor.  Though I will say I'm seeing character here from Earth-1, Earth-2, Earth-3, Earth-4, Earth-6, Earth-S, Earth-X and Earth-Prime among others.  

But it's classic Perez.  I mean, look at the detail, not  only the heroes but look at the details of the buildings, each one different and specific.  And the costumes are distinctive as well as the power blasts of those blasting powers.  Just beautiful artwork.

Bob Mackie, fashion designer extraordinaire, passed away yesterday.  He was Cher's frequent designer, but I know his work best from the Carol Burnett show in the 70s! 

Above, we have her reoccurring characters: Nora Desmond, Mrs. Whiggins (and Mr. Tudball) and Mama and Eunice!

Also, in the lower left, we have, from the Went With The Wind skit, Starlett in the dress she "Saw in the window and couldn't pass it up".  Classic!

On this date, in 1988, in Wythenshawe, United Kingdom, James  Bradley West was born. 

He's actor, but that alone doesn't make him a badass. Why is he a badass? 

He played Samwell Tarly in Game Of Thrones.  And anyone who could make a sad, cowardly, loser like him into, eventually, the Grand Maester of the Red Keep and the King of Westeros, well, he's GOT to be a badass, right?

 So, back on May 31, a Sunday, I took a bunch of pics of my morning routine that day.  And I forgot all about them. Until I found them tonight.  So, without further ado...

Got out of bed at 7:41 AM

Stopped by the Post off to mail of bills. 

Sang some songs off the radio as I'm driving through town. 

Took Theo through the car wash. 

Went to the Grocery Store, first thing, as always, getting my breakfast. 

Doing the rest of my weekly grocery shopping. 

Before heading home, stop by Rutters for my morning coffee.

After putting the groceries away, enjoy my usual Sunday breakfast: Boston Creme Donut!

Some Front Porch Readin' while enjoying the day and sipping my coffee. 

Putzed around on the laptop.

Did a load of laundry.

When the clothes were out of the washer and in the dryer, I took a shower. 

Read some more of my book, inside, in my good ole' readin' chair, right next to the big front window.

And when I was done with that, it was after noon, time for lunch and no longer Sunday morning.
