Today In The History Of Polt's Comic Book Collection
Today, we go back 32 years to October 1985, for Captain America, Vol 1, issue 310.
For several years in the mid-80s, I collected a nice run of Captain America. The stories were great, the art, not fantastic, but enjoyable. This particular issue is the beginning of the Serpent Society, wherein Sidewinder asks all he villains with snake-like names/powers to join him in the Society.
Ananconda, being a loner and stubborn, decides it's a stupid idea and decides to attack Cap on her own. That, in the end, was the stupid idea, as Cap, naturally, defeated her, and she ended up joining the Serpent Society later on anyway.
