This morning, I woke up at 730....damn time change. I hung out in bed on the phone and reading, doing nothing really, until like 945. I showered, dressed, got my coffee from Rutters, and went to the Credit Union to deposit the coins ($57.50) I had rolled up last night. All before getting to mom's by 10:30-ish.
I picked up her, we went to the Old Folk's home out there at the village she lives in so she could drop something off. Then we went to the local bank there so she could make the deposit for the thrift store out there that she's the treasurer of. After an unexpectedly long wait (she had put the wrong total on the deposit slip for the checks....), off we went to Chambersburg.
We went to the PennDOT center because my license expires the end of the month and I needed to get a new one. The place was surprisingly empty, only like four people total inside. And in less than 15 minutes, I had my photo taken and a new driver's license in hand.
Since Ollie's was in the same shopping center as the PennDOT center, we just went to Ollie's. There i found several books, a few of them gifts (see below), a Finn from Star Wars action figure, and I found some Bewitched DVDs, six seasons for less than $10 total! Yes please! I bought all of this, and it was just a smidge over $30! I LOVE Ollie's....like they say, "Good Things Cheap!"
Following this, we went to Bonanza for lunch at their buffet. I did well, I think, not eating too much bad stuff, and having a heaping plate of salad first (thus filling me up and making it less likely I'd get several other plates). Across the street from Bonanza is Credit Union office, where does her personal banking (like me), and so we went there so she could deposit something. And after this, I dropped her off at her place and came home. And I got here before 1:00pm...a busy and productive morning.
There was a possibility I could have a gentleman caller this afternoon, but that didn't work out. So instead I did a load of laundry and ended up taking a nearly three hour nap! Now we'll see how well I can get to sleep tonight. And now after supper, I'm just watching football and wandering around online.
