Perez Appreciation Post
Perez was the artist on the Crisis On Infinite Earths back in the 80s. This is a reenactment, sort of, of one of the most iconic covers of the entire series.
In the middle we have The Maestro George Perez himself. On the right we have the Earth-1 Superman holding his cousin the Earth-1 Supergirl who died (this actually occurred in those comics). To the left we have the Earth-2 Superman holding the Earth-2 Wonder Woman in a similar position (although both of them were erased from continuity due to the Crisis, that post never happened. And behind Perez, we have the Big Bad of the Crisis the Anti-Monitor (great job on cosplayer a difficult character).
On the steps we have a bunch of heroes in mourning (which occured on the iconic issue behind Superman and Supergirl....although there were a lot more of them). Roughly left to right there is Red Tornado, Psycho-Pirate, The Flash, Wonder Girl, Gypsy, Green Lantern, Captain Marvel, Blue Beetle, Nightwing, Batman, Starfire, Vixen, Amethyst and Dr. Light.
