Anniversary Avengers
The 28th Avenger was Jocasta! She was an android created by Avengers villain Ultron and give the 'brainwaves' of the Wasp. She was meant to be Ultron 'mate', but instead she rebelled against him and joined with the Avengers to defeat him. Following that, she had no where else to go, so she became a guest of the Avengers and went on several missions. After some time, when the team was reorganizing itself and getting a new lineup, they practically ignored her and so she left during the reorganization and wasn't really missed by them. She never really joined the team, despite being with them for over four years, but since she was with them for so long, I've always considered her a member anyway.
Jocasta hasn't been seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe yet, and since her creator, Ultron, has appeared and been destroyed, it's unlikely she will.
