SO two weeks ago, I had jury duty.  That ended Thursday.  Friday I went back to work. Friday afternoon, I got a scratchy throat.  No big deal, shit happens.  Plus one of the ladies on the jury had a scratchy throat, we had cough drops and used kleenex a lot for her nose.  So I just figured I got what she had.

Then, Saturday at work, my sinuses were full and clogged, but whatever.  Then Saturday evening...oh it hit.  My joints started aching.  I felt warm.  I was headachy.  Sunday evening I was just shivering and shivering for like 15 to 20 minutes.  I did not get groceries like I do nearly every Sunday.  Just hung out here.  I did not do laundry like I usually do on Sunday.  Nor on Monday, as I felt no better.  I did manage to run out and grab a few things at the grocery store on Monday morning though.

But as I was feeling bad, I emailed into work and took of Tuesday.  And that day I did pretty much the same thing: nothing.  But ache and drink Alka-Seltzer plus every 4 hours.  I did on Tuesday manage to do the laundry though.

Wednesday I had a meeting I had to go to and things to prepare for it, and the Kitchen needed trusties, so I struggled to work Wednesday, feeling like shit, getting the info together, getting some guys into the Kitchen, then attending the meeting and doing the follow up paperwork.  That night I just laid around, moreso than usual, felt like I was in a fog (as I had all week).

Thursday I got up and got to work, unsure of what might be awaiting me.  But after being there two hours and seeing I had nothing pressing, I left and came home.  Friday, I spent all day at work, although I still felt off.  And Saturday as well, but I felt better both those days than the day before.

Now, today, Sunday, I think I'm pretty much over everything...after over a week.  I've not taken Alka-Seltzer Plus since yesterday right after work.  I dont ache, or have feel sick or worn out.  I got groceries, got some soup from mom's house, did two loads of laundry and almost changed the bedsheets, but didn't. I'll so that tomorrow.  I just have so much energy that I haven't had in days.

I'm so glad I'm finally over this.  It wasn't as bad as COVID when I had that the first of the year, but man, it was an irritant.  And it was a pain in the ass....among other places.
