Today we travel back 40 years to December 1985 and Marvel's Heroes For Hope featuring The X-Men.
Band Aid was in 1984, the Live Aid concert was in the summer of 1985, USA For Africa did their recording in 1985 as well. And so Marvel wanted to get in on the act and they made this one shot.
I remember nothing about this issue except the cover. But all the proceeds from this went to help for starvation in Africa. So it was a good cause. The cover is by Art Adams, no idea who drew the insides, nor what the plot was. But I own it nonetheless.
