Badass Birthday
On this date, in 1847, in Edinburgh, Scotland, Alexander Graham Bell was born.
Of course he's famous, and a badass, for inventing the first practical telephone. But he also co-founded AT&T in 1885 and made advancements on optical telecommunications, hydrofoils, aeronautics, and while the head of the National Geographic Society he made significant contributions to it.
He died in 1922 at the age of 75.
