Years ago, before the orange shitgibbons and the MAGAmorns, I was talking with a friends about Republicans then and how obstinate they were for any progress, and he asked what are we gonna do with them even if we win the Presidency and Congress again (this would have been before the2012 election).
And I said, "We'll just keep moving forward and drag them with us, kicking and screaming, like the irritating anchor on American life they are."
And I think that response if appropriate here as well.
