Bushmaster

Bernal Rojas was a Venezuelan herpetologist (a scientist who studies reptiles) who invented a bunch of gadgets that mimicked the abilities of reptiles.   He was introduced in the Super Friends comic book in the last 70s, along with a bunch of other foreign superheroes.   Later, in the mid-80s, it was revealed all these heroes, and a few other international heroes, were part of an international super-hero team based in Paris called the Global Guardians.
