When I was twelve, at summer camp (Part 18)...

12 for the 12th

Time for this month's installment.

7:46am
On my way to Miss Cleo, parked in her space behind the house.

7:47am
It was cold this morning. It had been warm over the weekend, like the 60's, but it's gotten cold again. And interestingly enough, apparently when I pull out of the off-street parking area, I'm heading SouthWest!

8:13am
Me, in traffic, in downtown Hagerstown. (And yeah, since I'm supposed to be at work at 8:00, I was late today. But I still made it by 8:30)

11:07am
Lunch at work. Yummy. That's supposed to be "Italian Chicken", but I wouldn't bet my life on it. It really wasn't that bad, just overcoated with stuff. And the veggies were cooked to an inch of becoming mush. But the potatos and gravy were okay, and the gracy softened up the "Italian Chicken" so everything worked out. And yes, that IS Pespi in the cup, not good for diabetics...I know, I know...

3:37pm
I left work a bit early, went and got some quickie 'afternoon delight' (like done in less than a half hour) (and NO, I don't have any photos of that), and then went to Target. I found this for only $5. I've seen it numerous times, but haven't purchased it until now...you don't think they'll take away my gay card for not owning it before now, do you?

3:41pm
I was tempted to buy this notebook because a) it was on sale for 30% off and b) it's got Zac Efron on the cover. I mean who else would want this thing other than 14 year old girls and 41 year old gay men? But I didn't want to make a teenager cry cause she couldn't find one, so I just took the picture and left it there.

3:50pm
A poster of a cute Asian, still in Target. I looked for a price...for either the poster or the cute Asian himself, but had to settle for just the picture.

4:10pm
I stopped a grocery store on the way home and got a salad. The photo of the salad bar is blurry cause there's signs up all over about 'No Photography' so I had to be quick about it.

5:28pm
Dinner! The salad I made, Creamy French salad dressing, and a Pepsi...oh shut up.

6:00pm
I needed to refill my daily pill container thing. I take 11 pills in the morning and two in the evening. They're for my diabetes, cholesteral, aspirin for my heart, a One-A-Day vitamin, and a Claritin for my allergies (that I no longer get, thanks to the Claritin).

7:15pm
I let my subscription to National Geographic expire by accident last year. I renewed it around Christmas. This week, I got the January, February, and March issues all at once. So I sat down to do some reading.

9:55pm
Feeling a bit peckish, I made some toast, one with butter, one with jelly, and some tea (in my Toronto mug, naturally). And I enjoyed them while doing some reading in "Team Of Rivals" that I've been reading.

And after that, I got on here, posted this, and having completed that I am going to bed!

He's a tuxedo angel, cross dressing tonight...

So as I mentioned before, I'm going to be an usher in my cousin's wedding in July. Her fiance chose me to stand up there with him. His 14 year old son will be the best man. And his step-father and I will be the ushers.

The groom is black, as are his son and step-father. This doesn't bother me at all. What does bother me is that I just found out our tuxs are going to be cream colored. CREAM colored!

On them, with their skin tone, that will look fine. On me, with a pasty white skin tone, I'm gonna look like a big fat zit ready to pop: white, swollen and red on top. Swell.

Well, it's a good thing I like my cousin AND her groom....and it's a good thing I have no shame and really don't give a damn about how I look in a tux.

I'm a supporter of gay rights. And not a closet supporter either. From the time I was a kid, I have never been able to understand attacks upon the gay community. There are so many qualities that make up a human being...by the time I get through with all the things that I really admire about people, what they do with their private parts is probably so low on the list that it is irrelevant. - Paul Newman

You're wantin' my body, I don't mind (Part 152)...

Once more, it's time for....

Well, it's been warm-ish lately, but over the weekend/early week, it got cold again and very VERY windy. I love winter, and am NOT one for summer/heat/sweating/the beach. However, at this point in time, I think I'm ready for something a bit different. So I found this photo I took last year:

It was taken over Labor Day at a local lake. I don't even know when the last time before this photo was that I even hand my feet in sand...but I wouldn't mind some now. Especially if I've got a pair cute, twinkie boys in speedos (see here) laying on either side of me. But that's a post for another time.

Big beefy bouncers out to reveal us...

I had a pretty sweet early evening, but seeing as how I'm not the kiss and tell type....

Oh who the hell am I trying to kid? Of COURSE I'm the kiss and tell type!

There's this guy I've been talking to online. he's from my own small hometown. He's 28 and an EMT, and thusly, I shall call him EMT. (originality is my strong suit).

Anyways, EMT's pretty sure he's gay, but has only fooled around with another guy once when they were both drunk. He mentioned having a young son, so I figured he's pretty much been only with women. I swear I didn't entice him, I was only supportive of him. Offering advice, and telling him he wasn't weird or strange, and to think things out clearly, that sorta thing. I had given him my phone number last week, and we talked a few times on the phone.

Earlier tonight, he called me. When I said hello, all he said to me was, "I'm ready. And I want my first 'real' time to be with you."

Yeah, I know!

I asked him if he was sure, he said he was. I told him to come over, but I told him we'd only do what he wanted, as fast as he wanted, and we'd stop anytime he said so. I think he was hanging up the phone as he was saying goodbye and going out the door.

We had never seen each other, so I was quite surprised when I did see him. I knew he was a big beefy guy. He had described himself like a linebacker. And he kinda was, but different. Firstly, I'm 6'1", he was at least three inches taller than me! That's rare. And he did have something of a belly, but nothing like I thought. And his biceps and shoulders...my GOD, they were like boulders. His head was shaved and frankly, he looked like a guy in a movie who'd be a mafia bodyguard, or hitman, or the big lumpy stupid one of a duo, if you know what I mean.

I did not expect him to be as gentle as he was. Or to like kissing as much as he did. Or to be as passionate as he was. Or to be as cuddly. Frankly, I was impressed...not only for his limited skills, but in his enthusiasm as well. Big beefy guys really aren't my type (as should be evident from all the photos I post here), but I found him very sexy and attractive.

I'll go into no more detail (this IS an R-Rated blog after all), other than to say a great time was had by all. And I had to clean a portion of the wall above my headboard (*snicker*).

This is the closest photo I could find to him...but his hair was closer cropped, and lighter, and his belly was bigger, and his neck wider, but this is pretty close.

It was only as we were getting dressed that his phone rang. He blushes and says, "Oops, the wife."

Oh, girlfriend, I KNOW!

He talked to her a few minutes and then hung up and didn't mention her again. Honestly, I've been 'the other woman' before with fuckbuddies once or twice, and it's nothing I'm proud of, but I'm not really ashamed either. I mean it is what it is. This time, though, it surprised me, cause he never mentioned a wife. I mean, since he mentioned a son, I knew there was a woman somewhere, but frankly, I thought it was an ex-girlfriend, or fling in the past, or what have you.

Much to my surprise, I was thrown for a loop and still am even now. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about this. I know what I SHOULD do...but I also know what I probably WILL do. *SIGH* I am what I am and it is what it is, and that's the way it is.

But still, all in all, it was great evening!

Feel the bile rising from your guilty past...

For some reason, the time change this year has knocked me on my ass. I just can’t seem to get going in the morning, and I have a hard time falling asleep. It happened Sunday and Monday, and then I was an hour late to work on Tuesday (although I just worked 9-5 instead of 8-4 that day).

So I decided after having such a rough monring yesterday that I needed to do something about it. Last night, I took some of the over-the-counter sleeping pills and went to sleep, I think, about 9:30. This would have been good had I gotten a full night’s sleep.

But, at roughly 3:30 in the morning, I woke up with the acid reflux hitting me again. I get that perhaps twice a year. It’s a lovely thing. I wake up from sound sleep cause I can feel what feels like bile rising in my throat.

So I got up, and took some Mylanta. That always helps…but not quickly. And that means that I can’t lay down, cause everytime I lay down even remotely horizontally, even after taking the Mylanta, the bile rises again. And that’s just a horrible feeling and taste.

So, after taking the Mylanta, I had to go to the recliner in my dining room and recline back and sleep there with a blanket. Not terribly comfortable by any stretch. I was drifiting in and out of sleep until 6:00. Then I went back to bed, and could lay down without the negative side effects. But I could only do it for an hour, cause then I had to get back up to get ready for work.

I’d love to take a nap this evening, but I’m afraid if I do, I’ll sleep too long, and then won’t be able to get to sleep tonight.

When I was younger, I had a cast iron stomach: I could eat anything, greasy pizza, spicy Mexican, Tupperware, aluminum and I never got sick. It sucks being old.

An utterance, information, don't mince words (part 130)...

TMI Tuesdays
1. Are you pro-marriage? Why or why not? If someone wants to get married, that’s fine with me. I don’t believe I’ll ever get married, even if it becomes legal for gays to marry. I just don’t see the purpose to it, when people can just live together.
2. Have you ever invented or thought you invented a sexual position? No, but I’ve certainly invented some new mumbled words and new shouted expressions when I’ve been in some sexual positions.
3. Do you like to be tied up? Always or sometimes? I’ve been tied up, didn’t really do anything for me.
4. Do you consider online cybering adultery? No, not at all.
5. Do you prefer masturbation over real sex? Well, ain’t no one makes me feel as good as I can make myself feel, but there’s something about connecting with another person sexually that you just can’t get by yourself. So I think I prefer them both equally…although I have much MUCH more masturbation than I do real sex.
6. Do you want sex more times a day than your partner? Well, my last partnet was 19, so no, he wanted it much more than I did. But generally, I do want sex more.
7. Do you get offended when you partner openly flirts with others or are you okay with it? I don’t have a partner right now, but if it was just playful flirtation, no it didn’t bother me. Freddie could flirt with whomever he wanted, just so long as he went home with me.
8. Do you think you're flirty by nature? Oh hell yeah. It’s fun, and flattering and generally harmless. So why not do it?

Behind these eyes, every nook, every cranny reorganize...

A few Sundays ago, Ghostie came over to help reorganize my comic books. Four hours later, we were mostly done. Yes I did indeed say four hours.

We had to take all the comics I had not yet organized (let's say it was 6 months worth of comics...I get roughly 10 books a week, 40 a month total, let's say. You do the math). Then we had to pull all the titles that I no longer collect off the shelves and file them away in comic book boxes. THEN, we had to put all the titles I do currently get ON the shelves. And then do something with all the mini-series...mini-series that are both completed, and those that are still on going.

Four hours...you understand now? Here's a photo of the process about halfway through.

That's my king-sized bed covered in stacks of comic books. That's also somewhat frustrated Ghostie in the background. And that's a comic book box on it's end waiting to recieve a stack of comic books. I got a closet that contains nothing but comic book boxes, because there's no room there for anything else. There's also 12 of them scattered around the apartment.

See that's what happens when you collect comic books for 32 years. And going...

Now, way back down on the farm...

Today I spent the afternoon at the home of Bob & Don. This was the place AJ was staying at when he shot himself. At any rate, They were having a small dinner party, which included both of them, they're other housemate, Janet, myself, and James and Rich, a couple that's a friend of theirs.

I got there at about 12:45 and didn't leave until 8:00. We had a pork roast, scalloped potatos, green bean casserole, and sweet corn. Then we talked. Some of them went out to get ice cream, brownie mix, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. the other three of us sat on the front porch and talked. When the errand boys returned, we talked while they made the desserts and then we ate them. Indescribably delicious everything was. And then we talked some more. James and Rich left. Bob went to bed. Then I left, having had a very enjoyable and entertaining afternoon. And now, apparently, if I have enough leave and money, I'll be accompanying them on vacation to the Outer Banks in NC in September. How sweet THAT will be, if I can do it.

Behind their house, they have a vertiable zoo full of animals. Don took me back to see them. And of course I got some photos.

This is one of the baby goats they have there. They have such a highpitched, crack glass type of scream when they're held. It wasn't at all pleasant.

This is the white alpaca.

This is the peacock bought by AJ for them. He named it Shrader...his last name.

These are some more of the peacocks. The white one is another male named Petey. the rather plain one is a female, one of three there, called the Shrader-ettes, cause they belong to Shrader...or some such thing, what do I know about birds?

This is a pair of ducks that kept hissing at me. I asked Don why they were hissing at me. He said it was because they were mean, or they didn't like me, one or the other. How comforting.

This is the black alpaca they have, with the white alpaca behind him and a baby goat.

This is a large flock of guineas they have. I thought the only guineas in the animal kingdom were the ones that were pigs. Apparently, guineas are also some sort of chicken like, skwaulking like bird. Not terribly pleasant.

This my feet in the barnyard, standing amidst various kinds of animal shit: goat, alpaca, guinea, chicken, rooster, baby goat, pheasant, peacock, duck, I've no idea. I initially tried to avoid stepping on anything, but that quickly became impossible.

The black alpaca again. I don't know if it can be seen, but his face it white, and looks vaguely skull like. It freaked me the fuck out.

A bunch (flock, herd, horde?) of goats, grownup goats and baby goats.

This is Simba and Cody, watching us intently from outside the fence.

This is Beau and Sam, more of the dogpack, watching us as well.

Even more of the pack, Lady and Gracie. All the dog wanted inside to 'play' with the other animals.

I then decided I chase the flock of guineas into the corner and watch them the scramble around me, and film it.

As you can see from the end of it...I didn't intend them to jump up on and over the fence! I worried that my be a bad thing, but Don says they do it all the time and they'll come back inside. I was concerned, cause it was only my second time to their house, and I didn't want to be forever known as "That Guy That Chased Our Guineas Out Of The Yard And Into The Road Where They Were Slaughtered By Traffic" or some other such flattering name.

But despite the guinea chasing debacle, I had a great time. And i can't wait to do it again!

I got a fat ass playa...

Update:

The "giving up snooze buttons for Lent" deal? It last exactly one day: last Sunday. On Monday, pffft, right like I'm dragging my fat ass outta bed at 8:30 in the morning on day I don't HAVE to go to work. 10:30 and three resets of the alarm, and I outta bed and ready to go.

On the upside, I wasn't late for work at all this week, and didn't use ANY leave. And while I know this might just be assumed for some people's work week, for me...eh, not so much. I'm pretty sure this is only the third week so far this year that I wasn't late/didn't use any leave. yeah, that's how I roll.

Speaking of fat asses, today, I weighed 274 lbs. This would only be 1 pound lighter than last week, but it's taken me 24 weeks to lose the inital 20 that I lost since August, so it may not seem like much (and really isn't, when taken alone), but when added to the others I hope to soon lose, well this is the way I'm gonna it.
