When "Firework" first cam out, I hated it.  Wouldn't listen to it at all.  Seemed the same old pop tripe.  But in the last month or so, I've heard it a lot on the radio, and it's kinda growing on me.  Don't think I'll ever buy it, but yeah, I can listen to it now.  And enjoy it as well

Just finished watching "A Single Man/".  What a movie.  It was sad, kinda depressing, and yet, a beautiful film nonetheless.  Amazingly filmed.  Fully developed characters.  And the always striking Nicholas Hoult.  I highly recommend it for anyone who hasn't seen it!

I've never been much of a fashionista.  I never understood fashion trends when I was younger (jams?  mullets?  Jersey hair?  acid washed jeans?)  and now that I'm older, I dont expect to get the current fashion.  But seriously, what is it with these cute teenaged boys wearing black socks and shorts?  Black socks are only meant to be worn with pants, NEVER with shorts!  Crazy kids.

I was scratching my ear the other day and discovered a hair growing out of it.  Yes, I've totally reached the age where I have hair growing out of my ears.  I guess a walker, Depends undergarments and dentures are right around the corner.  Seriously, I ripped that sucker right out (bringing tears to my eyes in the process) and am now taking much care to check them frequently.  Ear hair.  Great.  Can't wait for the prostate problems.

I got an invite to my 25th High School Reunion in August.  I don't believe I'll be going.  I went to the 5th and 10th, but not to any other one.  Honestly, I'm moved beyong high school.  The people I went to school with that I'm interested in keeping touch with, I do (there's about 4 or 5 of them).  Of the rest, sorry, they're just not a part of life now.  However, after the ten year reunion, I was the local gay bar and ran into another guy I went to school with.  Neither of us knew we were gay in school.  And he didn't go to the 10 year reunion, so he and I were talking about it.  And we decided that one of these reunions, we were gonna hire two young, ridiculously studly and sexy male escorts and take them to the reunion with us.  Now that could be fun.

I miss Sean.  With his sinus infection, and my illness last week, and a busy holiday weekend, and now, he's dealing with taking care of his brother's three dogs, one of which appears to be dying, well, I haven't seen him in like two weeks.  We've talked on the phone and that's good and all.  But I miss actually being with him.  Well, hopefully soon.
