Thursday Three
Yeah, this week, I ain't got much. Cause this hasn't been a really good week. My fridge went out again, but then came back a few hours later. I've been in touch with the repairman, and he told me what to look for if/when it happens again. Looks like it may be the compressor, but I'll check things out again, to save him time and me money, until i can tell him more. And the last two days at work simply sucked big sweaty donkey dicks. And not in a good way at all. I've been stood up twice for hookups this week. I've only walked one day this week. I've been bogged down in a book, that while interesting, is just taking me forever to get through. At times, I have felt like a total outsider and like I didn't belong to anything. Some of the week, I've hated every single person alive. Other times, just some segment of society. I found out that quite a few of my friends, friends that support me and don't care that I'm gay, really care more for a fast food chicken sandwich than they do for preventing discrimination against me. My foot has hurt most of the week. The swimming and men's gymnastic parts of the Olympics (the BEST parts) are over. It's been hot and especially humid.
So yeah, it's not like this week has been overflowing in awesomeness. Nonetheless, let's see what I can come up with.
1) The Unexpected.
Saturday night, I had a surprise hookup with a college student in Shippensburg, my alma matre. This I figured would take 20-30 minutes tops. Well, three hours later, when I left, we had made plans to get together again this weekend (although we've since had to postpone until next weekend). Very unexpected, but very pleasant as well. He's fun. We have a good a time together. I'm looking forward to it.
2) Home care.
Got a few things done around the house I've been meaning to do: some spackling and some....some....hm, yeah, well that's it. But I've been wanting to do that for about a month and now it's done.
3) I have no idea.
How about hardcore gay pornography? Yeah, we'll use that, that's always something that makes anytime better.

Aw, I know what you mean about the Chick fil A thing. A family member's wife (someone I'm never in contact with or have met, but who friended me through facebook) posted support for the restaurant. Ugh. I hate it when I see close minded/racist/crazy right wing posts from friends/acquaintances. Especially when I never knew they thought along those lines.
Good for you for the spackling. We have 2 rooms we need to paint (don't even ask how long we've been procrastinating). Last weekend we bought the supplies to paint, so that counts for something, right??
Hope next week is better for you. Next time you feel alone or hate everyone remember that there are those of us who feel the same!
Things have a way of working out, you just need to get back in a good frame of mind.
