Chapter 9, Page 29...
So, Tuesday....yeah. Work was...rough. And by that I mean, I just was NOT feeling it. At all. Had no motivation to speak of. I did get things done that I needed to get done, but still...rough.
After work, I came home. The loud music was again thumping away. I didn't really want to watch TV, but I turned it on so it would somewhat cancel out the thumping. And it did. I watched a documentary on Discovery, I watched King Of The Hill and Bobs Burgers (which is absolutely HILARIOUS! If you've never seen it, make sure you catch it somewhere soon).
About 630, the music stopped. And even though I was anxious all night wondering if it was going to start back up again, it did not. I watched tv, all the way through Marvel's Agents Of SHIELD, which had a pretty decent premiere I thought. Then I went to bed.
I read some, and then turned out the light. I had the fan on and the a/c...not cause it was terribly hot, it was only in the 70s, but it was VERY humid, and uncomfortable without it. I probably could have slept without the a/c, but I enjoy a cool room to sleep in. And to be able to sleep under a sheet and a blanket. And the a/c allowed that. And there was no loud noise bothering me. And then I went to sleep.

So a few TV reviews:
Fear The Walking Dead still sucks. It's just stupid.
I tried to watch the new Muppet Show. I watched about half of the first episode and then I gave up on it. It wasn't funny. At all. It's kinda of sad.
Doctor Who is still a disappointment, but then there's only been two episodes, so maybe it'll get better?
Marvels Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D is just starting it's third season. We'll see how that goes.

Chapter 9, Page 28...
Monday, I got up a little later than usual. I did manage to get showered and dressed. I had some yogurt for breakfast to take my pills. I got online and got a message from a guy I had been talked to a little bit. We decided he should come for a visit, and so he did. I, however, was under-impressed with our time together, so I'm pretty sure they'll not be a return visit.
Afterwards, i read some and napped. And eventually, about 400, I decided I'd better something to eat, even though I wasn't really all that hungry, for some reason. So I went and got some Chinese take out.
All day, off and on, one of the kids on the other side of the house had been playing the music very loudly. The music doesn't really bother me, but what does is how loudly he had the bass playing. All I got out of it was an almost constant thumping. That disturbed me.
Eventually, I just decided to get out and take a walk, so I did. It was only for about a half hour, but still a half hour walk is better than a half hour spent on the couch. I came home and turned on the TV to watch the Monday Night Football pregame show. The music was still up loud, but when I had the tv up, it didn't bother me.
About 9PM, I went up to bed. There, the music and the bass thumps were MUCH closer and louder. I went out and knocked on the door to attempt to talk to him about it, but as I was knocking on the first floor and he was in the attic with the music loud, meant that that wasn't very successful.
I went back to my bedroom and turned on my floor fan (which I always sleep with) and the air conditioner (which I didn't need, but which is noisy as well) AND turned on my stereo to have some music playing. With all this, as I laid in bed and read, it counteracted the bass thumping. But when i turned the stereo off and the light out to try to sleep, I could still hear and feel the thumping.
It was about 10;10 when I called the house. Of course he didn't hear the phone. But I called back to back to back, hoping that maybe inbetween songs, he'd hear the phone. It turns out, his brother returned home just in time to answer the phone.
I asked him to have them turn the bass down. He apologized and said he was sorry, and it'd be turned off soon, and I told him it didn't have to be turned OFF, just turn the bass down. After we hung up, it did get turned down, and then, with the fan I couldn't hear anything and get to sleep. So in the end, it all worked out okay.

Not a lot to report for this Sunday. I didn't even shower all day. I got up, laid in bed for a while doing nothing. Went downstairs, got the paper and read it. Fell asleep on the couch for about a half hour. Putzed online and read. Watched football from noon until 9:00 when I watched Fear The Walking Dead *YAWN* and then went to bed where I read and then went to sleep.
Oh, and I did somehow manage to get two loads of laundry done. Go figure...

Someone book me a room (Part 270)...
Chapter 9, Page 26...
Friday night into Saturday morning, I did not sleep well. My head was clogged, my throat was rough, and periodically I'd cough and wake myself up. I still got up and to work on time, but I was out of sorts all day at work, with my head stuffy. I was taking the Alka-Seltzer Plus every four hours, that seemed to be working for me, helping me to feel better.
After work, I came home and got on the computer for a very short while, and then laid down on the couch to read, but fell into a nap before even ten minutes passed. I only slept about a half hour, but woke refreshed and ready to go....to do nothing.
I spent the evening on the computer or watching tv, including Doctor Who, which continues to disappoint. The storyline is idiotic, the Daleks were wasted, Clara was, as usual, useless, the Doctor overly hyper and frankly, not very interesting. Missy did get some pretty good lines....but a few zingers do NOT a good episode make.
Following this, I went to bed (early on a Saturday...I know. Welcome to my life), read some and then went to sleep.

Someone book me a room (Part 269)...
Chapter 9, Page 25...
Friday, I got to work without issue, had an okay time at work. I got done the things I needed to get done, as well as a few things that came up that I wasn't expecting to have to do, but did anyway. My head was still clogged and I still felt like I wasn't running on all cylinders because of it. Oh, and my abscess is still draining. Which is good, I guess, because it's not building up and the pressure isn't causing me pain, but it's also bad because that means that, even after three seperate anti-biotics, it's still THERE!!! I don't know HOW I'm going to get rid of this damn thing...I've been dealing with it since mid-August, and now it's almost October, and it's STILL THERE! ARGH!
After work, I didn't do much of anything. I watched some TV, was online for a bit, read some, and then went to bed somewhat early (before 9) because I was tired and worn out. I read some and then went to sleep.
My last two nights have not been restful sleep. There's been frequent coughing episodes that wake me up, and there's been at least one trip to use the toilet...I still dont have enough 'good' bacteria back in my guy apparently. So I did stop on the way home and get a few more things of yogurt.

Thursday, I got to work without a problem. Didn't have problems at work either, with work. I DID however, have problems with that damn cold or sinus trouble: my head felt full and my throat was scratchy and I had a nagging cough. But I got done the things I needed to get done.
After work, I went to Derick's, as we planned, and the bedtimesexxyfun. Because of my cold and my tooth, I was a bit subdued, but he picked up the slack. It was fun, as usual. Aftewards, I came home, ate Taco Bell for supper and then settled in on the couch with the computer and to watch the Thursday Night Football game (which Washington lost! YAY!).
I went to bed before the game was over, at the very beginning of the second half. I read some and then, right before I turned out the light, I checked the score on my NFL app: 32-21, Washington losing, with 3 minutes to go. So when I turned out the light, I went to sleep with a smile on my face.
